    I really liked Assignment 5! I was not familiar with non-linear navigation, so it took me awhile to get comfortable with making that kind of powerpoint. I really liked being able to make the powerpoint interactive for the students. I think next time, I could make the answer choices clickable for the students. I  definitely will be using non-linear navigation powerpoints when I become a teacher. I think they are really good for review.      When I am a teacher I think I will use data collection tools to gage certain feelings or thoughts from my class. I think I will be more likely to use surveys with older students, like in middle school or high school. I think surveys can be used in a lot of ways.       I am in an asynchronous section of EME2040. Looking back, I definitely wish I had taken this course in-person. I have found it pretty difficult to keep up with the assignments. I think I would have benefited from being in person because I feel like this class is so technical. I have enjoyed a handful of the assignments. I love having the ability to be creative with my own assignments, it has been fun! When I become a teacher, I hope that I will always try to give my students the ability to express themselves within their work. I think doing that helps motivate students and it gives them some more freedom in what they produce in my class.      Open educational resources (ORE) are very beneficial to educators like my future-self.       I really enjoyed working on the web design assignment! I had never used Weebly prior to this assignment. I found it easy to use and it had a lot of options in terms of design and overall creativity. I liked being able to customize the design to how I wanted it to look. It was easy to add and edit pages and to add hyperlinks. I  definitely think when I become a teacher I will use Weebly to create my own class website.       I looked up local elementary schools in Tallahassee and found Springwood Elementary School. The school website has a 'Teacher Websites' tab which is where I found Mrs. Hajdukiewicz's website. This specific teacher's website included pages like "Meet the Teacher" and "Class Calendar". The website also provided students and parents with additional information like Mrs. Hajdukiewicz's class daily schedule and online resources that aid in student learning.       I first got a Twitter when I was in middle school because all my friends were getting one too. Once I got Twitter I did not really use it much. I followed bands and singers that I liked and followed my friends. I don't remember ever  posting anything and I eventually just deleted Twitter because I wasn't really using it. I ended up downloading it again during high school however I didn't really use it. I wouldn't say Twitter is very beneficial to me. I don't really know how Twitter would be helpful to my future career because I  don't really use it.       The digital divide can have a huge impact on student success.
