Copyright is a type of intellectual property law that protects the rights of creators over their ideas. Fair use makes sure copyright material can be used in certain circumstances while still protecting creative rights. As a teacher, I would encourage my students to think originally and that copying someone else's hard work has consequences. I would explain that when developing my instructional material, I can take inspiration from other educators; however, I have to create something of my own. I think it is fair to deduct from a grade or give a zero if a student plagiarizes.      I think one way cyberbullying can be monitored and prevented within a classroom is by making sure the students know that the teacher monitors the technology the students use while in the class. I also think it is very important to encourage students to treat each other with respect and kindness. One way I think to combat decreased productivity is to encourage students to cont...

As a student, I have become very familiar with MS Word. I used Word for many of my assignments and papers in middle school and high school. I have continued using Word for the majority of my assignments while here at FSU. I definitely prefer  MS Word over another word processing software like Google Docs.       Hi! My name is Lindsay Ferrua. I am a sophomore at Florida State University, majoring in special education. I am from Sarasota, Florida. In my free time, I really enjoy reading, drawing, and painting. I also like watching movies, listening to music, and hanging out with my friends for fun.      My experience with technology in an educational setting is mostly as a student. A lot of my assignments and overall work are done using technology. In high school, I used Word and PowerPoint frequently in my classes so I am very familiar with those applications. I am also familiar with exams and tests being online and taken on a computer. Especially in the last two years with Covid-19, most of my learning has been through technology. Whether it is watching recorded lectures, joining an online Zoom classes, or completing my work on my laptop, I have become fairly comfortable with technology in an educational setting.      I think my lear...
